Rev. Marilyn Vyzourek became a licensed and ordained minister in 1998 from Charis Bible College and Andrew Wommack Ministries. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Roger Williams College in Bristol, Rhode Island.
She also founded Gospel Shelters for Women in Victorville, California and Liza’s Place in Colorado Springs, CO. She has also been the Human Resources Manager and Resource Development Director at Good Samaritan Society, Simla, CO for the last 2 1/2 years. After co-ministering with her husband of 36 years, Paul went to be with the Lord in June 2014.
Marilyn has now founded and runs Gospel Homes for Women in Colorado Springs, CO. Her 22 + years of ministry to the poor, homeless and drug addicted has left her with an extensive knowledge in this field. She has helped over 1500 individuals through her various Colorado Springs ministries to attain sobriety, meet Jesus as their savior, or spend a safe night off the streets.
In March of 2018 Marilyn was honored by the American Red Cross as their Community Hometown Hero.
Marilyn has 33 years of sobriety. She attributes her success to her Savior Jesus Christ filling the hole in her heart she once attempted to fill with drugs and alcohol.
